Who is the next FAS President - Masing or Karim ?

Rumours mills are working extra hours churning out 'so-called-reliable-information' on the top post in the State football association.

The rumours are the current president Datu Sudarsono Osman will not defend his post in the next Annual General Meeting of the State association.

A FAS official, when asked about the rumours today, said he did hear about it.


He said he wasn't surprised upon hearing the rumours because the president had made known of his intention to be the FAS number one official for merely three terms.


The official said it would not easy to fill the shoe because Sudarsono had accomplished a remarkable success when at helm of the State association.

He claimed the current president had pushed up the football standard.

Meanwhile a journalists claimed he had heard rumours that many elected officials are not seeking re-election.

He also claimed that he had heard rumours on calls to elect the Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri James Masing as the new FAS president.

The journalist subsequently opiniated the best person to replace Sudarsono is the Youth and Sports Assistant Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.

The State association would have its Annual General Meeting on 17th next month. -TheKuchingSportsNews
