Aisa Rosli is the ‘Champion of Champions’

KUCHING: Aisa Rosli of Kota Samarahan clinched the ‘Champion of Champions’ title at the third edition of Mr Boulevard-Mr BBS on Saturday.

The police lance corporal had earlier won the senior above-70kg category beating out Edison Eddie Ekom and Jeremiah Rukong — both also from Kota Samarahan — into second and third place.

The senior under-70kg title went to Wilfred Harding of Kuching. Mohamad Hafiz Mohd Razib of Johor and Alvin Vellabouy Alan Achang of Kuching followed behind.

The Mr BBS Physique Under-170cm crown was claimed by Zamir Sani of Kota Samarahan (champion) while Eivo Kelvin and Mohd Rizal Zakaria — both from Kuching — finished second and third.

Sibu’s Allen Lee was the Above-170cm winner outperforming Mohammad Azhar Aizam of Kota Samarahan and Mohd Al-Zaid Ladi of Kuching.

A total of 48 contestants took part in the annual championships, organised by Boulevard Shopping Mall Kuching in collaboration with Sarawak Bodybuilding Association (SBBA) and Borneo Bodybuilding Supplement as key sponsor.

SBBA president Dato Wee Hong Seng, deputy president George Awi, honorary secretary Andy Ismail, Boulevard Mall functions and marketing manager Chin Sze King and BBS representative Adrian Wong presented the prizes.

Andy remarked on the many new faces vying in the competition.

“We are also proud to announce that there are also new faces in the judging panel, who passed the judging course conducted by MBBF (Malaysian Bodybuilding Federation) during the Mr Malaysia championships held in Sibu in May,” he said. -TheBorneoPost
