KUCHING: The Sarawak Taekwondo Association (WTF), led by its president Mohd Salleh Sani and deputy president Azizul Annuar Adenan, paid a courtesy call on Youth, Sports and Solidarity Minister Dato Sri Michael Manyin Jawong recently.
Manyin was briefed on the progress of association’s talent scouting and training programmes.
“We are glad to be working closely with the government agencies who have been very supportive in the development of sports that broadens the access to practise taekwondo (WTF),” said Salleh.
He said further collaboration would involve more active development of taekwondo (WTF) athletes and coaches in the country to prepare for the SEA Games 2017, Sukma 2018 and various national and international tournaments in future. -TheBorneoPost
