KUCHING: Five-time winner Lee Kah Tung will defend his Sarawak Amateur Masters Open Golf title.
According to organisers, the local golf ace has confirmed his participation in the ninth edition of the tournament from Sept 30 to Oct 2.
Lee, who will represent Sibu Golf Club, won in 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Masing, who is deputy chief minister, was present at the Sarawak Golf Club (KGS) yesterday to conduct the tournament press conference.
He was accompanied by Sarawak Golf Association (SGA) president Hoan Kee Hock, KGS captain Dr David Sylvester Ling and Dato Sri Thomas Lau.
A Toyota Camry 2.5L Hybrid worth RM164,000 is awaiting anyone who scores a hole-in-one.
