"Got already ... Just wait!"

An FAS official has expressed his confidence that the state football association would have a new president soon.

He said this when he was asked by The Kuching Sports News recently on whether the Sarawak FA had any candidate after YB Abdullah Saidol had turned down the offer to the the president.

"Dah ada ... tunggu jak (Got already ... Just wait)," he texted the sports blog.

Meanwhile, former Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) president Datu Sudarsono Osman believed a new president will head the association soon.

“The new president could be identified within this week. I can’t reveal the details of the new candidate for president for now,” he said as quoted by The Borneo Post recently.

Following its annual general meeting on Sept 17, FAS have elected new exco members but have yet to elect a president.

Former FAS president Datu Sudarsono Osman, deputy president Datu Abu Bakar Marzuki and secretary-general Abdullah Julaihi declined to be re-elected.
