Perguruan Seni Silat Asli Cimandi beat other four silat schools to claim the overall champions title in a two-day silat tournament at Damai Sentral in Santubong, which was held in conjuction with a 35th anniversary of Perguruan Seni Silat Hailam Laut, that ended yesterday.
The first runners-up and second runners-up were Perguruan Seni Silat Helang Putih Perkasa and Perguruan Seni Silat Hidayah Melayu.
The other two silat schools that took part in the tournament were Perguruan Seni Silat Hati 12 and Perguruan Seni Silat Kibau.
The prize giving ceremony was performed by the Rumpun Silat Sarawak (RSS) president Muhamad Haneef Ali. -TheKuchingSportsNews
