LANGKAWI: Senior Crocs won the third spot in the Langkawi International Invitational 9-aside Soccer Tournament today.
The team, which were comprised of former State football players, however, only managed to lay their hands on the spot after edging Johore in a penalty shoot-out.
The score-line was 0-0 until the final whistle.
The victory was very sweet for the Senior Crocs as earlier they were beaten 4-0 by Johore when they met each other in the early stage of the tournament.
The other team which had defeated the Senior Crocs were Kedah Selection (4-1).
The team, however, won against against Penang (6-4), Kedah Langkawi (7-2), and Singapore (7-3).
